Demark Solid Silver Hand Hammered Gravy Sauce Pitcher Faux Wood Handle Marked HCW 1935<br>Presented is an impressive silver oval shaped bowl, sauce or gravy boat marked for silver made in 1935 with a makers mark of HCW assayed by Johannes Siggaard.<br>Danish silver during this period assayed for at least 826 fine silver; American standard sterling silver is 925 fine, so there is slightly less silver in this alloy.<br>This is a beautiful piece with a high finish a raised base and a wide spout with a faux wood or plastic handle. It is in lovely condition only some pin-prick dings, no monogram, the faux wood handle has separated from the brace and is slightly loose and has only some fine scratches from gentle use and care in the high finish.
