The grille features pierced floral pattern. It is made from heavy sheet of silver and feels weighty in hand. The box hinge and grille hinge both work fine. The box opens and closes properly. Some light dents. Light scratches on the surface. Light sign of usage underneath the grille.<br>This vinaigrette came from a large collection of antique vinaigrettes and nutmeg graters I found in a local estate sale.
